Listen. The dancing dolls are an entire PRODUCTION! Hair Makeup Costuming Dancing Technicality Cleanliness Emotion Synchronization They are one unit. They have been the only dance team to master the "sexy no smile mug" and that works for them ONLY! They embody sexiness, class and elegance. I love love love the settes but the dolls take the cake.

Technical Skills in Dance. Posture, alignment, co-ordination, balance, strength, stamina, flexibility, mobility, control and mental capacity. I'm tired of some people waving that over the Dolls quite frankly all these Dance teams have technical skills. And tbh the Dolls counts are not 'basic' at all, yes they may have some simple counts but so do The J-Settes and other dance teams. I think the Dolls have a the most complete package than most teams in my opinion. They show their athleticism on the field with their high kicks, leaps, and POINTED TOES *coughs at some other teams* Just because they don't do ramp kicks like other teams, that does not disqualify them from having technical skills.

There is no comparison of the two. Each has a style of its own. Both teams are arguably the two best in the HBCU and used as templates for other dance teams. As for the fans, you are either on the Prancing J-Settes team or the Fabulous Dancing Dolls team. Nothing said will convince you to switch sides.

Aside from competition, the Dolls just deserve total praise. They completely evolved in half a season, compared to years of progress with other squads. The J-Settes look beautiful in blue, though. All I see are different shades of chocolate... pure eye candy.

M Walker yeah the Dolls are more comfortable with each other. A 5th rip captain, only 2 crabs vs a 15 girls dancing together for the first time minus the merge and 6 new girls. The settes handled themselves well

Great footage Marvin! You're the best! I've watched both of these squads my entire life since the 80's. The J-settes have defiantly grown so much this year (dance wise). The Dolls have grown the most overall. When I was younger, the Dolls did not dance nearly as much as they do now and I appreciate them for this. 2 squads with 2 different dance styles. I love the bucking of the J-settes but also the sensuality and softness of the Dolls. #ONESWAC #BESTSQUADSHANDSDOWN

Every time I watch a MP video I always get nervous. Because I always seem to catch a dancer giving a negative look at whatever. If I was a dancer I would know immediately to look my best when MP people are recording. MP catches everything. All the best angles, the best moves, the best sounds, and (sorry to say dancers) the best and worst face you’re giving. MP TV DOES NOT MISS A BEAT!! On 💯 all day, every game!!!😘

Dolls won this. The Jsettes lack the cohesiveness that the Dolls have. Technicality makes a huge difference. The Dolls blend together well. The differences in the Jsettes sticks out. They should re evaluate places.

The girl behind Morgan is killing it. Morgan was throwing all the right counts for each song. Morgan has came a long way as a captain proud her. Settes came to kill it, but they just need to work on being more unified, clean it up just a bit. J sette was great improved very well this year. But the dolls for the win. The dolls are consistent, their together and unify. they're serious about their technique. Dani is a beast.

Here's my opinion.... both teams are creative in their own ways... If you recall back to an interview of Charlotte during her tenure, she mentioned that the Dolls, are completely different. They are more lyrical and jazz based; which is correct. J-Settes embody more of a majorette style where the Dolls do not.. Therefor to say another is boring is of course your opinion. That's just like saying those that like high action movies may find a romance based movie boring. That does not mean either is bad, but one has a preferred taste. Now being that I judge, and do choreography, I tend to lean to which is cleaner and more sound technically...Dolls, in my opinion would get those points before the Jsettes. To say their counts (Dolls) are not complex, is a tad far fetched. I say that, because the "simplest" motions require form, precision, and execution.. When your motions become too "complex" you tend to lose the 3 elements previously mentioned.. The J-Settes tend to do a good job at keeping the precision through out; however that can also be the downfall.. we all know of said Jsette that would "outbuck" the team and stick out like a sore thumb, or become tired and place the motions wherever versus executing them.... so, when comparing the two, please understand that they are on two completely different fields!!! They both bring their own style and legacies to the table!!! Both are talented, but when comparing, be sure that your opinion bears some knowledge of the dance world before your displace your opinions!!! Both look great, and if there were a score sheet, the Dolls would outscore solely due to execution and uniformity!!! I enjoy watching both though!!! If anyone would like to partake in a debate, I'm all for it; although, once I sense an emotionally charged opinion, I will stop conversing with you.

You can’t compare the two teams, they do two different styles of dance. Apples to oranges. Makes no sense. Bucking vs Classical dance. They both are the best at the styles they do. However, bucking is a bit more complicated which is why the J-Settes tend to be more entertaining. As far as appearance, cleanliness and showmanship, they both have it.

The J-Settes have been unusually tame under Morgan, who is really lacking in the charisma department. I've just largely lost interest in them over the last couple of seasons. Dolls take this one, easily (and I never thought I'd say that coming out of a stands-based battle between the two of them).

Dolls are a fan favorite. It's hard to give a unbiased opinion.J Settes were more entertaining. Their counts are way more complex, and some how they managed to be just as clean as the dolls. I give this to the J Settes. The Dolls will always be the Beyoncé, but the J Settes were on their Jennifer Lopez.
