They ain't loud, they ain't loud, or that's all they do...let me tell you something, there're some good bands out chere, but compared to SU, a lot of those bands ain't shit!!!😂😂😂on da real though, these dudes a dynasty off top since the 80's and they pretty much check all da boxes. They can battle anyone cause they're the most versatile band period in my opinion. We all know they coming with dat power and when da haters start that all they do noise they can get in their bag with that Rocky theme or joyful joy etc...with good arrangements for however they plan to attack.

FAMU & SU are in 2 different classes just as the MEAC and SWAC. 1st FAMU don't put instruments on the ground while Tubas and Drums play that's high school, now that maybe why some FAMU routines are slacking. 2nd SU plays extremely loud the only problem is sometimes you don't know what their playing. Now you have The FAMU Sound which has always been, but yeah in a battle sometimes the musical selection us questionable. If you look back since the 90s FAMU had more members but SU was louder what does that tell you? We're all entitled to our opinions, but long story short long as we have disagreements it'll push thr bands to be better and continue the HBCU Tradition.

Its like saying "that big brass band blew out that dancing Symphonic Orchestra" ..no shit Sherlock. But one who understands music, the history, and the difference in style within individual bands, know how to enjoy both bands (or all) for what they are. Dont get me wrong, i love a good battle hands down. But the divisive, destructive rhetoric is what is destroying us as a people. We are the ONLY beings on this planet that can do this type of sport with such passion. Take the time and compare HBCU to PWI and DCI groups. The crowd HEARS them, ours FEEL us. Its almost like magic. Lol.
