If you want them to buck, it's not gonna happen.. Jazz and ballet is a soft, elegant, but harder dance style. That's why most steer away from. It they choreography is better than other squads

Im a Bethune Cookman grad and all I have to say is dem Jags was drillin! I really enjoyed the show but sometimes Southern can get a little sloppy in their playing, overall great show. The dance routine was very entertaining I wish it was longer. What is the song they were playing for their sideline blowout?

East coast was in the house, SU put down with their arrangements of songs, they know how to capture the audience I enjoyed BC performance. Now with that being said JSU show was a talent show. All those singers, really, all they needed was a soul train line. And the fans always talking about loudness, what has that got to do with good musicianship. Southern Playing "I Wish" to perfection, well let's just say they smashed it. NOW ASK YOURSELF WHY HAS NATHAN HYMER BEEN INVITED TO THE 57TH GRAMMY AWARDS. I WAIT

It's interesting how all of that powerful sound seems to disappear when they begin to march! No hate; I'm just saying. Great sound but as much as I enjoy the visual, it's a shame that their unique marching concept prohibits them from sustaining such a strong sound as when they stand still. Sideline entrance and exit was very effective though... #KudosSU :)

A big part of that is that most of the bands elected to use the on field mics for their show and SU did not. Brass instruments sound carries in the direction they are facing, by using mics the sound is uniform no matter which direction the band is facing.

That...dolls routine... 1) Even though I hate props, if you're going to use one, commit to it, don't just use it for 2 seconds 2) They need to work on their technique because every single turn and leap in this routine was terrible.

+Kory Kent I just watched the routine after reading your comment. I did not see terrible leaps as your stated. I realized that this is the 2014 team. Five of these ladies did not return this year. The 2015 team has 5 new beautiful talented dolls. I agree with you about the prop usage. I am not a fan of props either. I know they use the parasol during home games for a New Orleans swing tune. The DDs are my favorite college team and they have the best director ever - D'Tara.

Lol, first of all............. it's 14+minutes of a show..............the average football half-time show is about 7 minutes, each band??? SWAC: SU won MEAC: NCAT won I really cant judge swac vs meac as these are two totally different styles of drilling and to all these TC fans who keep tryna compare and or compete with SU what conference y'all in I'll wait. "too much of a good thing can be a bad thing" although they had people come out and perform.. in that setting, it can take away from the bands performance, and can drag the show out.. which it did.. and just being reall that little boy got zero house for jackson.. and he was off key.. but i guess im hating bc im stating facts.. for the show to be so damn boring, he sure watched it and took the time to comment... now unless u want to state some facts.. gtf.. bc u both sound like haters
