Ima say this....a lot of people don’t know what the previous section leader was really going to develop the section for when he leaves. He’s still there by the looks of it for his 5th but the work he put in is showing out frfr. I called it since Mardi Gras and whatever work he did to build them up has worked and the section leaders this year took it a step further with his same system. Don’t forget that no trumpets really want to go to Alcorn so to develop folks who either can’t play that well or don’t have that mentality is a lot of work

After several performances, I'm sorry to say but shunti doesn't fill the captain spot for me. She's too technical, all the counts repetitive and start to look same.
