Just got to say that this has to be my most favourite bus route of them all on the island!!! I used to take the number 12 regularly in both summer & winter. I love the changing scenery & the quaint little villages here & there!! So well kept & maintained!! It feels safe to not see any litter or vandalism anywhere & the way it has retained that old England look about it without any of the forced commercial modernism bestowed upon it like so many other parts of the world. It was back in 87 when I was just 21 that I first set foot & moved on to the I.O.W. I am now 57 & my love of the island has never diminished but merely grown more & more!! I fell in love with the island before I moved to it, just from photographs & stories I had heard from family that visited. Now I love it more than ever before!!!! Thank you for the great footage as always kittkoko !!

To most people this would be like watching paint dry. If a teenager accidently watched this they would feel suicidal and need counceling. But I found it strangely riviting. My mother , who I have not seen in 5 years , lives in Freshwater and has no car so to learn all about the local buses is very useful. I liked that the bus driver stopped for the old man who raised his hand ( a bit late leaving home ) followed by the devil may care driver running that red light. I was on the edge of my seat. Thanks for sharing.

I love these long winter bus journeys viewed from the top of a double-decker. You see so much more than when driving a car. I particularly like seeing the leafless trees silhouetted against the grey winter sky. Quite stunning, thank you.

That's one of the nicest videos I have seen this year. No commentary, apart from the schoolkids who made me laugh.

What a lovely journey! When I go to the Island I usually stick to the main roads, but not now as those villages are just beautiful! Thank you for taking us with you!
