Dollar General is just the name of it. It doesn't necessarily mean it's a store where everything is $1 or less. We also have Family Dollar. It's also not a "$1 or less" store. Then there's Dollar Tree. Everything there is $1 or less, so it's truly a "dollar store". The name of the store isn't always indicative of the price or availability of items. There's a store called Dick's, but they don't sell...nevermind.
