OMG! I literally was just wondering where my mom's recipe cards and box went! 😄😄😄 And voila! Your videos take me back to a much simpler and more innocent time in my life! ☺☺ My mom used to collect and use these recipe cards etc. Our local newspaper also published a column "Hints from Heloise" and you had that on one of your videos too! Thanks for the videos! You are definitely one of if not the most prolific content producer in the asmr community! 😀😀

Oh my goodness....before I had ever heard of or even knew other people being triggered for tingles, and the concept of ASMR, I used to think about how magical it would be to hear someone calmly reading recipes! lol For reals! I shared this odd desire with my coworkers at the time, and they all thought it was so hysterical so they took turns indulging me. It was quite comical! Fast forward to 2017, and Mary is making my dream a reality, HA! Who knew there were millions of others that experienced the same odd phenomenon? I was so shocked when I came across my first ASMR video. I was instantly hooked and floating on a tingle cloud-overload-marathon, for weeks! LOL! It's all I did in my free time. My house was messy, I was behind on the laundry, I wasn't cooking, wasn't socializing... I was drinking in an overwhelming abundance of triggers and after each night of pure tingle overdose, would pass out in a blissful, comatose, haze. I only had the pleasure of experiencing tingles in unexpected moments throughout my life. Thinking it to be bizarre, and with the exception of those close to me (and some of my coworkers), I kept this odd fascination to myself. The majority of the time, the person or circumstance providing my triggers, were unaware of my strange idiosyncrasy. My discovery of ASMR videos could be compared to the golden ticket, found by Charlie, that allowed him into the Chocolate Factory. The ASMR (Willy Wonka) community had opened the door to what had only been a dream, and offered pure, uninhibited, and gluttonous tingle indulgence!!! LOL!!! No worries, I have received help with a support group, and the first step was admittance in the statement "Hi, my name is Ninny, and I'm an ASMR-aholic." Anyway...thanks for this dear!!! :D

B Cram Yes, I'm OK, thanks. Sometimes I get lightheaded when I make these whisper videos, and I started feeling really dizzy and had to stop. I hadn't had anything to eat, and making these types of videos on an empty stomach seems to exacerbate the problem. I'm totally fine, though, I promise!

Ahh, recipe cards! Once upon a time, there was no internet. People had to use things like this, and actually make some effort. Worryingly, half those cards seem to be about mac and cheese. Is that a great U.S. favourite?
