Nice Hunt, Brandon! I had to do a check in an old copy of Porter's Coke book on the 1915 Orange Texas bottle and it's listed as Rare....nice!!! That poison was sweet too! What a dump...and I say that in the best way! Congrats on the Bessemer hutch! Great video! Take care, be safe and God bless! (I believe that Washington item was a commorative piece made like a hatchet for him "cutting down the cherry tree"....I believe!)

Brandon: A Scottish bottle-dump digger I watch does a celebratory "belter" dance whenever he finds amazing items! One of his favorite finds are poison bottles, & I was conditioned to expect you to do a "belter" dance after that clear poison bottle you showed! Your special bottle would have also qualified as a "belter"!!!

Brandon, I get the idea behind letting the bottles adjust slowly to a temperature change, is there a way to tell which bottles are more prone to cracking other than just bad luck and experience? I'd imagine Root glass is probably one to watch out on.... I'm asking because I might have finally found a dump here that isn't under 30 feet of slag from the steel mills. This being high desert area there's going to be a pretty good change from 10 feet to the surface when it's 90 degrees out and I'd sure hate to crack a rare local bottle by pulling it out too fast.

Also need to poke the dirt out the top of the bottle when you pull it out, the pressure of the air inside the bottle can also cause cracks and bruises, I usually just take a stick and get the dirt out of the neck

Brandon loved the huge cobalt blue bottle, the clear poison which I think I had seen in an old drugstore/hospital here but not sure, your Bessemer Hutch was “awesome”!!! I think my find of the day was The National Defense button. No one actually knows a thing anymore about that time. We were still practicing getting under desks, and knew where the fallout shelters were here when I first went to school. Your folks probably recall this too. It snowed here at midnight the pm before y’all got your snow and was freezing. Today it was in the 80s, and buckets fell open last night. Hope y’all have a safe trip tomorrow. Good Luck!!👍👍👍🥰 Did Tristan cut his hair or take off his hair piece??🤦🏼‍♀️😂😂😂😂😂

At our late show, I flaked on buying a Hamakua mug base, the only one in Hawaii. I'm unlikely to dig one on this Island, though I dug a broken Lihue Ice in Town. I did eyeball the rare "P.S.W." stopper here in 2009, from the Big Island. It was used on unembossed bottles when the Pacific Soda Works commenced in the '90s. Controlled collapses, at the 'Ewa Plantation hospital these 2&1/2' concrete pier blocks needed to be moved . We have our brands that love to crack. Aiea and Enterprise are this clear white class with no aqua that are so fragile. I found an 'Aiea 4' deep in the West loch of Pearl Harbor. The bottles are 1901 and the company became Ewa Bottling Co.H.T., our more common Hutch. The only Southern bottle I've found here was a broken Simmons Liver Regulator from Macon Georgia. I bought a whole one through the club there. It's a sunken panel from c1880s. Congrats on the fun dig!
