When I was much younger and one of a huge family, my favorite past time at the lake was to go off on my own a look for things. That way I had some quiet time. I found things too, a gold ring with 2 hearts on it (no initials), arrow heads always broken, the ID bracelet from WW2 pilot when they use to fly planes over the lake training, lots of teeth mostly deer, champagne bottle and glasses (ah, romance), beach glass, shells and more, and once a very old forearm bone. My father was a physician, and said it was most likely from when the Indigenous people buried their dead on the shore. But best of all, a very old large eye trade axe head, like a big hatchet, from the early 1800's. Now I am older and time has run fast, but if given the chance I will still roam the shores looking for things. Thanks for the memories.

Watching you walk the creeks reminds me of my childhood. We had a nearby creek for wading, swimming, fishing, catching minnows & tadpoles, and just generally having fun. We'd find pretty rocks and freshwater mussels shells, but I don't remember any old bottles. And the water smelled so bad we had to leave our clothes on the back porch, because mom wouldn't allow them in the house. 😂

Good idea for the milk crate, I have one on my postie bike and it works a treat.I save my old holey socks to put the better bottles into to help protect them while bouncing around on the bike, just a little tip if you hadn't thought of it already. Great video as usual to thanks👍
