Good morning Brandon! I ask you a few weeks ago what kind of metal detector is good for a beginner and you answered immediately which was really nice of you! I can't wait to use it there was a house on our property that was built in 1899 it has been torn down, but I know where it was so that is the first place I am going to metal detect around! I absolutely love your channel my husband Frank has even got into it! Thank you for a great channel! Patricia Gambino Harrington

Awesome adventure Brandon. Hope you fair better than I did with my wisdom teeth. After having them removed, I had a hard time opening my mouth. I could open it to eat smaller foods with a fork or spoon but something like a sandwich or burger, I couldn't do it. It took a couple weeks but that got better. Again, I think you're channel is awesome. Best wishes from East Tennessee and I hope you and your wife get well soon.

We have some of "That terrible glass", I found a whole one hutch, "Aiea Soda Works". It's badly cracked but complete. They only existed in 1902 then became 'Ewa Bottling Works, our more common Hutch. I've dug about 4 of them out here and one in Town. I've some receipts for the repair of a Kissell Kar truck that belonged to the Tanimoto Store. In Town I dug the brass builder's plate for a 1909 Kissell Kar. A 3 cyl. 40 hp., the 871sr onw built. The company folded in 1931.

@ansh92362 жыл бұрын
I think those pieces of iron you found are hames. They go on the collar of a draught horse and the rest of the leathers for the cart are attached to the collar also the reins are treaded through. You have heard of the expression "making a hames of it".

What was the date on that bottle from Vernon Bottle Works? I'm from Leesville, LA., which is the parish seat of Vernon Parish. I have never heard of Vernon Bottle Works until now! Leesville wasn't incorporated until 1900.
@adventurearchaeology2 жыл бұрын
Probably around 1910-1918
@bradhicks9122 жыл бұрын
@@adventurearchaeology From what I have gathered so far Vernon Bottle Works was incorporated in 1921 and dissolved in 1936. So it was only an active bottling company for about 15 years I'm guessing. They may have reincorporated under a different name but probably only bottled under Vernon Bottling Company for that short time. That may be a rare bottle! Now I've got to figure out where that place was! 😆

Cottonmouth snakes are "venomous" and are not aggressive. They simply want to be left alone. That one probably spit that little catfish out so it could make a hasty retreat to cover.
