I just found your channel and enjoyed your river hunting adventure so much I subscribed. As a native New Englander now living in Western N.C. i don't find many older bottles, artifacts or old coins like i did in rural N.Western R.I. where I grew up and then living in VT. for 25 years before moving south in 2014. Lots of history to be found in the ground up there if you know where to look and I always try to find at least one or two days to explore when I go up to visit family on vacations. I do hope you get up there to vacation and treasure/bottle hunt. Great video and I look forward to watching more of your posts here.

I've found a few ground lip screwtops, s Japanese drugstore in Honolulu around 1900-10. They were made in Japan by people not fluent in English, so there are varieties of misspellings. Another screw top from Japan like that is "Club" hair tonic. These were made in Japan & sold here.

Enjoyed the video, hate the pioneer cracked. Sounds like you’ve got some good resolutions for this year. I’ve spent a lot of time in the plant I work in, doing 7 day weeks over and over. Two things I’ve learned are: 1. I’m never gonna be rich. 2. Time is precious. Once that family time is gone, you can never get it back. Stick to your resolutions, and I hope you get to feeling better. By the way, I’m one of the people that could care less if I ever see another golf ball! 👍

Crazy finding all those golf balls. I was out detecting in a farm field last summer and found a golf ball out in the field, in the middle of nowhere. Don’t know how it got there unless it came down in a rainstorm. I did find a couple of old pre-1900’s coins, so maybe it was a really old golf ball? Hmm. Hope you get well soon, AA!

The house I grew up in , was the oldest house left in our town of East Alton. After I moved out , my parents sold the house to my oldest sister. Right around 1985 , a sink hole started to cave in. My sister tried to fill it in. It kept sinking. So my family got together and started to dig it back out. They started pulling out bottles .lots of bottles. 76 all in tact. Some still had corks in them , with some sort of liquid in them. They came to the conclusion that it was a well . I still can't believe that my sister wanted to move back into that house. It was haunted , very bad. When my sister sold it finally , that family really made the spirit mad , and they sold it real quick.
