Windrock 6/2018 Day 4 Part 2 (TraIl 28)

Trail 28 is one of our favorite mild trails at Windrock. It has just enough rocky sections and hill climbs to keep things interesting. There are some fast sections as well so it offers a little bit of everything. It follows a creek for a good part of it so it is a scenic trail as well.

We just got back from Windrock and it rained every stinking day!!!!! We had 60mph winds, hail, then sunshine! Man, that mud up there is so slick, I’ve never seen anything like it! Sure makes a moderate trail somewhat difficult in the rain, like 22!!!!!

Yep, that sounds like the Windrock I know as love. It rains every damn time we go. Every day at least once. lol

It seems like every single time we mention rain out there or something about it being a nice day it starts pouring afterwards. The storm that came through was a monsoon. One of the hardest rains we have ever been out there in.
