Nice movie of love and tragedy. The lesson learn here is parents must never interfere in their children love life. They can give advises if the relationship is not to their expectation. But there is nothing you can do when two young people fall i love. If Sam's father is not controlling Sam could still alive and may be connected the two famlies and extended families to uniting through marriage. Its nice that Sam's father learned a lesson in a hard way. Its nice well acted story of true love.

How nice all families come together and celebrate the Special Day of their love one. Good to see Sam father recovered from his sickness. I admired Teuila family for their forgiveness and love showed to Sam father nd family in times of greiving nd loss, even though Sam father was disrespectful to Teuila nd her parents. Thanks Teuila nd your parents its a lesson to us Samoans nd others we Forgive nd continue to love those who do wrong to others. Amazing part if the movie. Lots of tears🥰🥰😘😒 for Teuila for her loss and all families, but it was well performed. Thank you Samoa and all actors Great job. GB all 🙏🙏💖💖💖🌟🌟🌟🌺🌺

Translating the script would’ve been awesome. Even though I couldn’t understand the language, just watching I had a fair idea what was happening. Congratulations Teuila I love the way you acted your part, Sam would’ve been a wonderful Dad. I core throughout the movie 😢

In Samoan culture, when someone in the family commits a crime or does something wrong, that may affect another third party or family from a different village/same. The mat shows asking for forgiveness from the family that did wrong. If the impacted family accepts, they open the mat and forgive them.
