I got to fly on one of these 737-500's on a flight from Phoenix to Albuquerque. I didn't think much of it at the time but as I read these comments I realize I had the experience of a lifetime

Like a hot rod. When you guys rounded the corner, you were off like a rocket. That must have been an incredible feeling. A couple of weeks ago I flew on Southwest out of Austin, Love, Hobby, and Albuquerque, and every one of the takeoffs was like yours.
