*** I will not be posting a trip report for this flight. For one, this flight was quite short (just over an hour long) and very uneventful. Also, due to the short length of flight and turbulence throughout the flight, in-flight service was suspended. It was a good flight, but like all my other Southwest trip reports, I felt it wasn't worth posting one. Sorry about this, but I hope you enjoy my two other trip reports from my Las Vegas flight series. Also, I plan on continuing my trip report videos for my upcoming trip to Seattle, WA in May on Delta Air Lines, an airline I have not done a trip report on yet. Your flight is a 'first' for me of sorts--first time in years of watching SWA takeoffs on YT that I have seen a line of other company aircraft waiting their turn--normally it seems the flights I've seen have immediate clearance after leaving the terminal--I know DAL has two parallel runways,wondering why those two others weren't directed to that runway? Looked like California One was next to you but Geminijets says otherwise--was sure you were going to hit rain after liftoff but you cleared those clouds so quickly and to see blue sky and some sun---ahhhh! :)

Yes, I know what you mean. Many times I see WN planes "turn and burn" on takeoff. Not 100% certain, but there was a line of storm cells directly east of Dallas and I almost wonder if they weren't rerouting some aircraft (including ours) heading east. The same instance happened to me last year flying from DFW-MSY. And yes, that was indeed Florida One (N945WN) parked next to us. California One (N943WN) has the bear on the side of the fuselage. Also, it was very satisfying to break through the thick cloud layer and into the sun!
