-PHX to SEA. PHX-SEA (Major national hub, the main hub, for Alaska Airlines & Horizon Air!)
-Southwest desert valley region USA to Pacific Northwest mountain region (West Coast) USA.
-Boeing 737-MAX 8 aircraft.
Long distance round trip travel in a single day. Morning to midday to afternoon to evening. Layover in between flights. After this outbound trip came the return trip: Seattle (SEA) to Phoenix (PHX). Left Arizona in the morning, back home in Arizona in the evening. Departure and arrival! Boarding passes and fridge magnets are shown at the end.
-Inside the gate, taxi to runway, Takeoff (climb & ascent to cruising altitude), flight attendant announcements after surpassing 10,000 feet.

-Awesome views [behind the wing, from the window seat] of: Sky Harbor terminals & runways, Salt River, 202 loop & 101 loop freeways, ASU campus, north Tempe, Papago Park, Mesa to the south, Camelback Mountain, Scottsdale, Phoenix area in distance, Sun City/Peoria in distance, Lake Pleasant & Highway 93 in distance, Prescott, Interstate 40 freeway (Route 66), Interstate 17 freeway, Flew a bit more to the east and straight north for awhile: Closer to Sedona & Flagstaff & Humphrey's Peak, Williams in distance, Kaibab Forest, Over the Grand Canyon National Park area & Colorado River, Interstate 15 freeway, Zion National Park & St. George & Cedar City (Southwestern Utah), Eastern & Northern Nevada, Western Idaho, Bend & three sisters mountains, Mount Hood & city of Portland in distance & Interstate 84 freeway (Eastern & Western & Northern Oregon), Columbia River (state line), Mount St. Helens & Mount Rainier (Eastern & Western & Northern Washington), some of Seattle area (downtown & Elliott Bay to the west, not visible due to overcast, before we turned left for final approach), Interstate 5 freeway, Lake Washington & Mercer Island, Boeing Field (King County International Airport), Boulevard Park, Renton, Sea-Tac runways & terminals.

*Disappointing return visit thanks to the weather, I want to return in the future when it can be more clear and sunny and I can actually see everything.
-The previous year (2020) I returned to the Portland, Oregon area (and therefore the Pacific Northwest USA), 15 years since our family road trip in the summer of 2005. This time (2021), I returned to the Seattle area, 16 years later.

Even though it's so brief, with only views from the plane and inside the airport.
-My mom and dad originally lived in Seattle for awhile (late 1970's-early 1980's), my first time was a trip with my dad and older brother in the summer of 2002. We flew in and out of Sea-Tac. So this was my first time at the airport in 19 years!!
