I am 65 years old. I love travelling now also but driving for a long distance at this age, i have to think twice. When i was young I use traveled in two wheeler long journey to many places including Goa. You people are doing a great job and enjoying at right age as said life is short. My dad is from Sagara Shimoga. Grandma (mom’s mom) from Karwar. Been to jog falls many times. Note all the coastal villages in Karnataka are actual surnames of the Saraswat Brahmin community. This community Lived here centuries after migrating from Kashmir. Village names like Honawar, Bhatkal, Shirali, Gokarna, murdeshwar, Dhareshwar, Udupi, Kundapura, Mudbidri, Padbidri etc… Famous personalities like Deepika Padukone, Shyam Benegal, Gurudutt of Pyasa film, Girish Karnad and many more. You are taking me down memory lane. Especially powerful memories since my dad passed away in 2002. My dad’s mother lived in Sagar till age 105. Her mother lived 108 years same place same house.

Hi, nice video. I am from sagar. 1. Travel in Honnavar-sagar-shimoga road the best time is june to August. Same is the time when jog falls is in full swing. 2. When discribing sagar-shimoga road you told its in uttara kannada district but its in Shimoga district. Jog falls view point is in Shimoga where as the actual falls and the bombay ib is in Canara dist.

Indian and unsolicited advice goes hand in hand. Probably another generation or two and it will go off 🙂 but by then most unique qualities that identifies us as Indian will also vanish. I liked your attitude towards life, live it when you have it with you. Who has seen tomorrow? Savings for your future is important but it is equally important that you live and enjoy the present. Balancing both is the key. Have gone over few of your travelogs and it clearly demonstrates how mature both of you are... so continue what you are doing, keep inspiring like minded people to travel more and above all cherish every moments without any guilt.

They did not check me however that call I cannot take as it’s at own risk. Also, I heard per person or family 2 is allowed so talk to shopkeeper and take proper bill. Hope they don’t stop for personal use so bottle should be open and not sealed pack. Again these are my point of view and you should check throughly before taking same.
