Very fine video ( camera work )......I empathize with your love of solitude and pristine natural environments .

Solidarity, man! Most people don't get it - the enjoyment of being alone. Happy trails!

Amazing views! I'm certain that this video does them no justice. Are the ruins & trails leading to them at Valley of Gods mapped; and thus easy to find? Also how did your rig generally handle the Shafer Trail & specifically the switchbacks & any outcroppings?

Yes, there are maps that show the locations of the many ruins along Butler Wash (route 262); the ranger stations are a good resource. Regarding the Shafer Trail, I did not do the switchbacks with the camper because I was nervous of the tight turns. I know there are others who have done it though. I drove out to the White Rim Road via Potash Road from Moab as far as Musselman Arch and then back the same way. The truck camper has a high center of gravity and rocks and rolls on uneven roads so it is slow going.

@@rasims49 ok...good to know about the ranger stations, thanks. Would have to confess that I'd be nervous too on that trail. Reminds me of a KZbinr, Truck Camper Adventure, who rode his hard sided camper up Murphy Hogback on the White Rim. It's pretty wild!
