OK this is a childish argument It is not a choice of mind foolish person. It’s all about bureaucracy if you are sovereign, then you do not have any benefits like disability, Social Security welfare and so on. If you were a citizen, you do have those benefits, but you also have to pay for drivers license every four years inspection, license plate, and so many other things. Now if you’re sovereign, you do not have to pay for these things. And there already is a license plate on every car. It’s called the Vin number. This is just a sneaky way for the state to make more money. So answer this, if you’re poor, and cannot afford to renew your license every few years and can’t afford it inspection every year stuff like that. Then you don’t have the right to travel? This is contradictory to the constitution. This is why codes and statutes exist. The state will always take a vantage of ignorance. It’s literally legal to travel with a horse and buggy down the road.why?

Because you are confusing laws with corporate policies. When you go shopping at a chain store do you memorize the employee handbook before going in. Or do the employee policies not apply to you. It's the same with codes statutes and ordinances, they are policy not law and only apply to government officials (employees) your 14th amendment citizenship declares you a manicipal servant making you a slave of the federal corporation acting as government. You must correct the errors and presumptions.

There is a major flaw in the Sov-Cit arguments. Australian law is based on English Common Law, under the law of the UK ONLY the sovereign (KING) is sovereign in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. So, their argument falls at the first hurdle. However , historically in Scotland (and only Scotland) the "People" are "Sovereign". Expect loads of bagpipe playing, kilt wearing, Sov-Cits in court some day soon !

To be fair, the "true" laws that sovereign citizens believe in are about as flimsy as the actual law. The only systems that hold any weight in society are the ones that the majority believe in. That system just so happens to be the one lawyers and judges are a part of. Common belief is what holds society together, and most everything is just a set of rules/ideas that the majority of people agree is true. Honestly, the whole sovereign citizen thing is basically a group of people trying to manipulate and twist the commonly agreed upon laws for their own purposes. But, that's just my opinion on the matter, and opinion is subjective. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And you are right, you do not need a license, insurance, or plates to operate a motor vehicle on your own private property. So you are absolutely free to pull your car in and out of your garage as much as your heart desires without a license.

Government has sovereign powers granted by the Constitution (the People), but has no inherent sovereignty, all sovereignty is in the People ("Our government was founded on compact. You need a license to operate a motor vehicle because they are dangerous and the courts, the law, and the realm of public opinion have agreed that a minimum standard is reasonable, to be demonstrated by the process of acquiring a license. 2. You need a license to fish/hunt for conservation reasons. If everyone fished and hunted as they pleased, it would be detrimental to the survival of native species. Licenses help to disperse the extraction of wildlife from the environment and prevent ecological harm. Humans are destructive. There are a lot of us. 3. You do not need a license to grow food. 4. Licenses are needed to sell food because, again, the public has largely agreed that a minimum standard is reasonable for food service. When you go to a restaurant, you have to trust that they are doing their due diligence. There is no realistic way for you to see what is actually happening in the kitchen. Licenses combined with regular inspections help to alleviate the risk from the unknown. 5. You do not need a license to give away food. 6. You do not need a license to feed the homeless. 7. The renewal process for your license is specifically to make sure nothing has changed. The information on your ID can absolutely change. Your home address can very easily change. Your weight can fluctuate. As you age, your body changes and looks different, rendering pictures out of date eventually.

The closest thing I can think of for a sovereign citizen is police - prosecutors & judges who enjoy immunity from prosecution in many situations. Also, immunity from civil litigation. No regular citizens I know of enjoy those privileges.

You can always believe anything you like, does not make it real. Part of the SovCit view is not to use lawyers as (in their minds) lawyers work for the court, not for their clients. SovCits also believe that they know 'magic' words that will cause the cases against them to be dismissed and really don't understand when that does not happen. They make administrative rules/codes. And yes, all governments are corporations. We are under no obligation to join or stay in any corporation. 42 U.S.C. deals with THE PUBLIC HEALTH AND WELFARE Everything goes right back to common law - no tangible victim, no crime. Anything else is presumption of guilt, a dictatorship, tyranny. Arguing in favor of subjugation of the people is evil. And can be an act of treason since the people are the country, not a corporation.

@@exander77 first you must understand where law comes from. In the bible God said take dominion over the land air water. This became the three juris of law. Land is our superior juris, common law, constitutional property. Air is the highest juris of law it is cannon law trust law, and our lowest form is water admiralty maritime, contract. The UNITED STATES is a corporation the States are sub corporations of the federal. Since the government decided to incorporate they must follow the same rules as all corporations including contracts. These corporations are foreign to our republic and independent nation states and repugnant to our constitution.

Some is a natural right as in self defense. Another is disciplining your wife and kids - natural rights. For other violence, that violates natural laws and for those you cannot withdraw consent. But MAN'S laws demand your consent. Mere presence does not automatically place you under their jurisdiction. It will if you give tacit approval, which 99% of the people are duped into. I know this is an Australian news network and based off Australia law but in the United States there is no federal law governing personal driver's license or registration. A license is only required for commercial and commerce. We have a right to travel. Cars, motorcycles, motorhomes, ect were not yet invented at the time the United States became a nation. Its the same concept that says the 4th amendment still requires a warrant for the search of a computer. Just because the technology advances doesn't mean the constitutional rights dont apply. I have the right to travel by foot, by bicycle, by hot air balloon, so why wouldn't I have the right to travel by getting into a vehicle I own and driving it? Even going to work, the vehicle is being used to travel to the place where the work is going to be, not for the work itself.

I think I get what they are trying to say. Why should we accept laws and rules decided by others, that we might not agree with and can't change? What gives one person automatic rights over any other person? Also, governments award themselves too much power over you and everything you do, and you have no choice in the matter. We have no real freedoms or rights and we do accept whatever we are told without question. However, what they miss is that if they don't want to be part of society, then they should not get to enjoy anything that other citizens have allowed them to use. Nothing. No food, clothes, cars, roads, or any other thing they did not make or invent themselves. They should also have no contact with others or influence the lives of anyone else in any way. It would be a bit like the Amish.
