Because having all planes in the squadron attack at same time is a disadvantage... riiiiight. Not to mention soviets didn't have CV UNTIL AFTER almost the 1970s... as well as not having any combat experience with use of them. But sure make them better than the Japanese and the American and even the British CVs. And why does Germany have CVs? And why are those also better than the historical naval powers responsible for the primary use of aircraft carriers? How do you sleep at night knowing your bias in your own game is so horrendous?!

In heavy flak the smart CV players only make one attack, anyway. The "small health pool" of Russian planes merely means they drop a similar or perhaps greater amount of ordnance per attack.

I think it's wonderful that we finally have soviet carriers. I didn't know they were so strong! Shame they didn't use them to put more pressure on the Germans. Though my carriers are missing the tug boat that pulls it around.

I didn't think they could do it, but between Soviet CVs and Subs they've finally made the game unplayable. Unstoppable OP squadrons that never run out, and constantly being spotted by both CVs and subs without counterplay.

when a t9 aa dd (friesland/hroningen) gets blown up by a t8 russian cv (pobeda) after getting AA defense expert, thats where i draw the line, and i play in asia, the server with the most cv population, then again can happen with all cv's but russian cv's seems to have the advantage of dropping at the edge of the AA range also wasnt the new aa original intention to mitigate further attacks? russian cv's just throw them out of the window

Can you make a new "How it works" for map spawning? I would like to know the WG game mechanics behind opening spawn selection before the battle starts. For example, why are ship map spawns are so close to other team mates? Why are DD's, CA's, or BB's not balanced (port or starboard) on spawn deployment? It appears they are all slanted in their deployment instead of spread out on the map for spawn deployment.

"aircraft carriers of other nations can make several attack" umm, what, have you played the game? this never happens because cv's need to predrop to avoid running out of planes to unavoidable AA in 5 minutes. also, recommending hidden menace? thats just tricking bad players, that skill doesnt work because it results in all your planes dying before returning

Hidden menace got patched to no longer spend twice as long in AA. There are times where you can pull off several attacks, not often but they exist and achieve more than a Soviet flight can. Maybe I’m just biased towards British carpet bombers jumping over flak.

@@Merluso415 first of all english isnt my native and neither is spanish so either speak a language we all understand or dont bother typing. secondly , kremlin, vladivostok, sovetsky soyuz rossiya , lenin, nevsky, petropavlosk , moskva, stalingrad, sevastopol, khabarovsk, serov, pobeda, ckalov, nakhimov, slava, riga, smolensk, donskoi, kronsdat and that is barely scratching the surface. wanna keep going ? the ijn line has paper ships as all lines do but at least have a considerable amount of actual ships. past t5 soviet line is almost exclusively made out of paper ships or ships cancelled in dockyard

Legends player here. These things are stupid overpowered in some situations and nobody was asking for more carriers. There is simply no reason a battleship should lose half it's heath from a single torp drop because he was trying to actually use some skill to play the game by angling to another battleship he was trying to duel. dds and cruiser players generally hate them too. I swear these things are playing the game on recruit difficulty or for people who can't even figure out destroyers and screws over everyone else.

How to play Soviet Aircraft carriers...Don't... These things are way too powerful, they lose so many planes and still continue with full squadrens, this means that as enemy ships get struck and take down planes they lose more and more of their aa due to damage taken but the cv remains as strong as it was at the start of the battle with full squadrens, balanced? I think not.
