Thank you very much! Great tutorial video, explained very well. I do it the same way. Some peel the seeds and then plant immediately. It is not that easy to figure out which is the root end any many do not make it. This way is much better..... put them back in the container until they get leaves and a little bit of roots. If the roots stick in the tissue, I just tear the tissue and plant it with the root. Nicely done video, which I am sure will be very helpful to many. 👌

Hi Ram, I followed your method by removing the husk of the adenium seeds. 2 out of 5 have turned green. Is there anything that I can do to revive the other 3 seeds? Appreciate your advice. Thanks

Hi, I tried to germinate the DH Adenium seeds using the tissue method. I did not remove the brown husk, though. It is already day 7 and there is still no sign of the seeds germinating. Is it normal for DH Adenium seeds to take such a long time to sprout? Thanks
@nhansme4 жыл бұрын
So glad I found your channel. I love Adenium and I find your channel is very informative and useful. I live in Melbourne Australia and here we get only very few months of growing period during summer. So it takes a long time to obtain a good size plant from seed. But still I enjoy growing them. Going to purchase some arabicum or Thai soco seeds from Thailand on eBay today. Hoping to use your germinating method for those.

@ramadenium81324 жыл бұрын
You can do with dha seed for high percent to germinate other varieties you can do with this step or normal step beacuse other varieties of adenium seed very easy to germinate only dha seed need to use extra step for help is not babies can die easy in seed after put in soil before germinate

Adeniums are easy to grow. You don't need to remove the husk of the seed. Just keep them wrapped in wet tissue or cloth for a couple of days and sow after that. Good soil is airy - a mix of soil and perlite, for example. Cover the seeds with soil and keep moist. If the seeds don't start growing, they are probably too old. Adenium seeds don't maintain their freshness very long. So, the usual method for growing most seeds apply here too.
