Anette has never been a bad singer. She's VERY good. Lyrical singing doesn't make you better than contemporary singers (Tarja is by no means better than contemporary singers and she's not the best opera singer). Certain high notes that Tarja sang are EASIER to reach with operatic voice than with contemporary voice. The fact that Anette hit them using belting voice makes her AMAZINGLY GOOD. That's the detail all people forget, because they are not professional singers.

It's a year ago since I saw this video the last time and I remembered having the chills and goose bumps in the end of it. As it turns out: it's still the case! This is the best recording of meadows of heaven (well, obviously not sound-wise) which has ever been made. Anette is outdoing herself and singing even better than she did at the homecomming concert at the Hartwall Arene of Helsinki. Well done and can't wait to hear the new album!
