You're killing it, brother! Series like this are why you are my favorite farm sim creator! I thoroughly enjoy not only your play style, but the style of your videos.

Thank you! I've certainly been enjoying this series a lot! I think this is going to be one that we're in for the long haul for sure, already got my eye on field and equipment upgrades as we start earning money!

You have to put down an extension pit to collect manure out of the barn

I’ve only just discovered this series (I know, late) and am absolutely loving it! You’ve got a new subscriber 👍🏻

Adding straw will produce manure, will not affect slurry. If you don't have a manure pile use the one in the 'silo extension' section in the build menu. Great video as always!
@KederkFarms Жыл бұрын
Great tip, I always forget that I can just add a manure pile though honestly I think I'll just stick to slurry and sell the straw ;-)
@LegendDairyFarming Жыл бұрын
Not a bad idea the straw will probably pay for the fertilizer without the investment of extra manure handling equipment and another job to do

If you don’t feel like making an autodrive course Autodriveguy made a prebuilt course that works really well. Love this series!

Autodriveguy is awesome, I'll look into his course though I do tend to like just making what I need when I need it :)

I'm pretty sure Kinze is based in Williamsburg, Iowa. The iowANFarmer has done some collab KZbin vids with Kinze and provided some history about the company. I believe the Kinzenbaw family started the company.

Thanks! I've definitely driven past it, just couldn't remember exactly where it was exactly!

@@KederkFarms You're welcome. A little tidbit that some may not know is that the planter at their facility that's standing vertical and is visible from I-80 actually rotates. I'm not certain how fast it rotates or if it's sync'ed to the time of day. If you drive past it a couple of times with a decent chunk of time in between you'll see it's oriented in a different position then it was when you first drove by it.

Hey Kederk, about Kenzie. They are based in Iowa. This winter me and my dad actually got the chance to go on a tour of both John Kinzenboughs personal antique tractor collection which he gave himself and there are hundreds of antique tractors there but we also were able to go on a tour of the plant and both tours were awesome. Loving the series.
@KederkFarms Жыл бұрын
That sounds awesome! I'll have to see if they're doing tours next time I'm in the area

@Kederk Farms if you get the chance I definitely recommend it. It was awsome just listening to the stories from John and his friends about why they did designs the way they did. And the amount of re-powers they did and the stories behind them were amazing

In FS I like to go fast at night and slow during the day. IRL we get ~.8 5x6' round bales per acre of soybeans, so nearly 1 large round bale per acre. About 4-5/acre for corn stalks

if you want to put the straw in the barn you can do that! it will still make slurry and Also make manure if you want to gather the manure then you have to place a manure silo (if its not already there not familliar with this map)it wont stop the slurry production and i believe it doesnt slow it down either also straw in the beds gives them a little more health i believe not sure bout that one tho (sorry for potential grammar mistakes english isnt my first language)
@KederkFarms Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the explanation, I don't have a manure bunk so I think I'm going to just sell off the bales :)

the mirrors is caused by the angles. esp if the mirror face has any polygons/curvature to it. the fix is to turn the mirror face until its within reflective range. something that should have been addressed by the mod maker. you can go in the editor and rotate them a hair to correct

Kederk going back to my theory, you should make the john deere 6700 sprayer for all platforms. Good suggestion or idea. Have a good day

Great video. Question do you have any idea why I can't see any animals or bales I can make them but can't see them?
@KederkFarms Жыл бұрын
I have not run into that issue. I'd recommend checking your Documents\FarmingSimulator22\log.txt file for errors. Could be some kind of a mod conflict.
