The Soyuz spacecraft carrying Expedition 44 Commander Gennady Padalka of the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) and Flight Engineers Andreas Mogensen of the European Space Agency and Aidyn Aimbetov of the Kazakh Space Agency (Kazcosmos), returned safely to Earth on Sept. 12 with a landing on the steppe of Kazakhstan. Padalka completed 168 days in space since launching in late March, boosting his all-time record total of time in space to 879 days on five flights. Mogensen and Aimbetov spent eight days in space as part of the crew that brought a fresh Soyuz spacecraft to the complex. Following landing the crew was greeted with a traditional ceremony.

I find it lovely how they get the astronauts out of the capsule (like if they were being born) and then they gather around to provide them with emotional support/comfort. Very tribal and very human.

seems a bit amatuerish compared to nasa apollo missions. in apollo splashdowns they were pulled out by the navy with medics onside if needed. still at least they got down safe.

Paulinique de Daphne von Harrisburg sat in the tub of hot, bubbly water. It was good that the viceroy was at the palace in audience with the queen. This soak is what she needed. Her lower back, just above the crack-of-itchy, felt romantical. She now hoped that the viceroy would return shortly to give her the "once over." Suddenly, like a motorcycle coming out of nowhere, José the gardener entered the bathroom. "Madre," he began, "I beg Jew problem." "Oh, slide in," Paula said, feigning anger. "And my brother? He too?" "Oh, alright." With the 3 of them soaping up there wasn't room for the viceroy should he arrive home ahead of schedule. "Here ease Carmen," José's brother said, and sure enough there was Carmen nude and in the process of draping herself across Paula's dreamy-creamy, parted thighs. "Carmen, are you pregnant?" Paula asked. "Jess mum," she giggled. "Jew ties are berry sexy mum." "Here," the gardener said to Paula, "let me feel you up a lot." Paula laid back, the best that she could, for a Mexican grope. "Berry goo," she teased while the soapy water flooded her love tunnel. "Jew ease juice watt I needed," she moaned as José took liberties upon her like he was Erik Estrada standing amidst the grandeur that was "California Pines.” "What's this?!" The viceroy exclaimed as he jumped suddenly into the bathtub like a motorcycle coming out of nowhere. "Berry sore he," Carmen said. "I go." "Please don't go," the viceroy whined more affectionately than would a dog catcher with gonorrhea. "I must wash your back?"

+onjoFilms The soft landing has been described as feeling like a small car crash. (They are still going at 5 km/h when they hit the ground.) I don't really want to know what a ballistic landing feels like.
@Suyamu
@Suyamu 8 жыл бұрын
actually they are going 5 m/s when they hit - that is 18 km/h ;) It is indeed like a car crash - but they're braced and have shock absorbing seats that soak up a lot of the impact.

@telumatramenti7250 6 жыл бұрын
It wasn't. The Soyuz descent retardant charges fire milliseconds before the landing, having done so without fail the last 50 years. This is why you see a dust cloud around the capsule. It's nothing like a car crash. No one has ever been injured by Soyuz capsule landing in the last half a century.

michelle c - It’s actually VERY interesting. It involves very complicated physics and even accounts for things like the temperature. Fortunately, computers figure out orbits extremely accurately, so, the cosmonauts know when they have to leave the ISS and when the return module has to slow down (using rockets) so that gravity will pull the module into the atmosphere which REALLY slows down the module. Timing is the most important thing, and computers handle that very well. After the atmosphere slows down the module, then the module is basically falling straight down. When the atmosphere is thick enough (I think around 7 km), the parachute opens. When the module is only about 5 meters above the ground, rockets slow the module right before it hits the ground. It’s a rough ride for the cosmonauts!
