For docking with the ISS, a "superfast" two-turn rendezvous scheme was used for the first time, which allowed the spacecraft to reach the ISS in just 3 hours 3 minutes after launch.

All new crafts use long trajectories, last time Soyuz had its radar upgraded it also took a 2 day trip in order to test it for as long as possible. SpaceX want to test as many systems they can per flight so they will probably stick with long trips for now. (unless of course they decide to try fast one just for PR reasons) But sooner or later dragon will also switch to 6hr or 3hr trajectories as well.

А телек без шапочки лучше не смотреть :) --- Step 1: find "vremya KP" in the launch stream after fairing jettison, but before second stage separation. 10:45:04.536 . It's local Baikonur time. To get UTC substract 5 hours: 05:45:04.536. Step 2: find contact time in the docking stream, which is said and displayed at upper-right corner after "T =". 11:48:50. It's Moscow time. To get UTC substract 3 hours: 08:48:50. Step 3: find the difference. 08:48:50 - 05:45:04 = 03:03:46. And this is the information from the source.
