The mallard NEVER had an NYC 6 chime. So of course he wouldn’t do it. Besides, if it was already running again, the British would never use a 6 chime whistle on any British steam locomotive. Even if they did, it wouldn’t sound right. Not even on the Mallard, or the Bittern, or any other A4.
