SP Roseville Shops and Yard 1986

I would love Union Pacific to have at least one or two engines in Southern Pacific colors and not just the 1996 heritage unit!

Love those tunnel motors with the regular "Southern Pacific" on the flanks. An honorary mention is the speed lettering Rio Grande style. But somehow I dislike "Cotton Belt" even though it was an affiliate of SP.

Love it, I have driven past that scene hundreds, if not thousands of times. We lived about two miles west of the yard for thirty six years and just recently moved to Idaho.

My, how times have changed since I hung out in that area in the early seventies, then in 2008 - 2009.
