Seriously; when will VAR actually become a thing? And PGMOL actually having some balls and sacking referees? I really like Robbies suggestion of Officials giving PM interviews to explain themselves a little here though; but the issue with that is the can of worms effect, where do you stop? Do you then have an overruling panel to 'take away' goals? They should review the ref's mistake and depending on how serious; sack him on the severity to scale (like Us missing out on Top4 becasue of Arryfuck's ghost penalty

VAR will be "technically" more correct but NEITHER Penalty would have been given but much more importantly IF it was like the brilliant INSTANT Goal-Line technology then fine but it wll be like NFL i.e. STOP-STOP-START-REVIEW-STOP-3 minute delay etc....it will take the emotion and continuity out of football. 1984 is getting closer and closer..
