I haven't messed with the DJ mode yet but I'm pretty sure if you select remain + effect it will open the effect menu without engaging the effect giving you an opportunity to adjust your knobs before applying the effect. Hope this helps!

The mute bus technique to mute instantly a channel could be very useful to do a instant transition with a fx (for ex. a delay or reverb). I didn't think about it that until this video, thanks dude!

I believe that you can change the encoder behavior in settings to pickup mode where the values don't jump and instead they pick up at the value when you turn the knobs

@@benrabary yeah you definitely can! There is a whole Knob Setting page in the menu I think...Great video. I had an SP for a week send it back because of the very limited mixer section, but I actually overlooked that there is a third channel in DJ Mode! Might be the missing puzzle I searched for.

@@JosuaKarlson I've looked into the other types and I'm still trying to experiment, so far I like the "catch" option. The 3rd ch is definitely a really good addition, adds a little more performance side to the DJ mode. Thank you for checking out, appreciate it
