My goodness she loves that!! After watching what you do at first we can watch Uniek's expressions on her face. When you'd walk away it would be like... "HEY, where'd you go.... oh good you're coming back" 😅 The amount of hair you got off was remarkable!!😳 I bet you needed the curry brush for the front of your jacket!! “Oh yes Mem that’s the spot right there that feels so nice keep going please” I’d say this is the part Uniek looks forward to every time with her spa sessions she’s practically leaning into you the more you rub on her which is so adorable because she does love giving you hugs. Her Majesty truly has everyone at Goengamieden at her feet a full entourage ready and waiting to provide to her every need La Reina is definitely living her best life she wants for nothing. This is what absolute dedication given from a person to an animal should look like all the time Yvonne is completely devoted to her beloved girl and Uniek takes every available opportunity she can to reciprocate Yvonne’s dedication by always seeking her out to give lots of snuggles these 2 Queens really do have an incredible bond it’s watching even the smallest moments between them here where Uniek always makes sure when Yvonne’s close enough that she nudges her hand asking to continue being touched or the way her ears listen to her voice those sweet precious moments that make me incredibly proud that so many of us came together and helped Uniek stay where she belongs.They are connected in a way we will never understand and the respect,trust and love that is between them is something special,these 2 are soulmates if only all of us were privileged enough to have a Queen Uniek AND a Queen Yvonne in our lives all the time the world is just a little bit more special because of a wonderful kindhearted soul named Yvonne and a majestic regal horse like Uniek both are true gems who have lessons to share with all of us which they do each day through these videos.👑👑💗💗🐴🐴

Dearest Shannon -that is the best comment I have ever read regarding the tremendous interaction and love between these two creatures -Yvonne and Uniek. ❤❤❤ Sometimes so gentle and quick ya can miss it and sometimes so totally affectionate it is impossible to miss. Someday someone us going to write a story about this incredible stable and their journey to bring this very special breed to the forefront. It will include the story theme of Yvonne and Uniek. And then make a movie 🎥 for world to see. Yvonne and Geertje believe the horses and foals benefit from all kinds of experiences-from taste tests (watermelon, peppermint ☺) and joyous romps to many, many words of encouragement. @@barbaradecloedt9554 Wow that’s an amazing thing to say Barbara,thank you,you made me tear up(in a good way of course 😂💗💗) Everything else you mentioned was absolutely right it’s beautiful to see how Yvonne,Geertje & all the rest of the incredible Goengamieden team always interact with their beloved horses with love,patience & respect all truly love what they do and it never ceases to amaze me the amount of dedication shown at the stable every day;some of the videos Yvonne’s made in the past(especially the herd running towards the pink subsets)would be perfect for both a children’s or a book for adults I can also see them starring in a movie all about the history of Friesian’s and the backstory of Goengamieden which would be something magical,they are the horses of Kings of course. Rein Sr really is a kind man with a big heart and you’re right it absolutely shows in how he devotes hours to his animals I think it’s really not a job to anybody there at all but a true passion.👑👑🐴🐴 Thanks again for your beautiful words I appreciate them so much and it shows you yourself have a beautiful big heart as well.😊🤗🤗

This is so good to watch. Makes me wish I could participate in giving Uniek part of her spa treatment before her babe arrives. Uniek loved the curry comb on her croup the best. She stretched to get the must out of scratching her bum. Sweet girl. Probably like most women, the low back really needs TLC in the last month or so of pregnancy. Good job Yvonne in offering you favorite girl that bit of comfort. She deserves it.

I love how she really enjoyed being groomed. You are able to use the steel hard curry comb all over to include her neck. She especially liked you scratching her hind back as she lowers her head as to say, “Oh yes... that spot feels so good!” LOL She’s beautiful.... When it warms up, will you make a video of you shampooing them, please? God bless you, your family and the horses. Hi Mary Hendrson 👋 There's several good shampooing videos in the library, I just scrolled back and found a couple for you, just 1 week ago, the girls wash n groom Reintje before an IBOP test, that video is called ' Riding IBOP' , and 1 Yr ago there's a good one called 'After the training we always rinse the horses' . I love seeing you do this. When I was very young I had the care of a Percheron. I needed a ladder to properly groom this horse. It was very difficult to pick the hooves. I had a very patient horse. They know. They love it. It is something a horse can't do by itself but in the end they so appreciate the removal of the hair, the dust, and being clean. They absolutely know when they look and feel like a million dollars.
