I disagree with SW if you exclude all the damn superweapons, SBY has antimatter cannons and a gigantic "fuck you" gun that can shred an entire fleet in a not spread out formqationx(plus they're really small compared to other sci-fis), Str Trek has them Torpedoes afaik, and WH40K regularly commits to boarding actions and such, if unable, a Nova cannon might be enough to scare away any other force

The original series is from the 1970s I think. Those you can find just about anywhere. Space Battleship Yamato 2199 is the reboot, made in 2014 I think. It follows the storyline well, so the newer one is for if you want the updated looks. 9 anime has all the movies and tv shows up till 2202. 2205 is still unreleased in the USA publicly. I have it from a download. There are 2 big movies, them being the live action, and SBY: Resurrections. The latter was fine, while the former was decent, but they tired cramming 26 episodes worth into a 2 hr movie. If you do watch it, I highly recommend the subtitled version, not dub. In my opinion, the dub kinda ruins the show

How are you able to do this? I tried to do a ghost division music video for the Gamilas but it kept getting taken down for using copyrighted material.

I had the same issue earlier, but music wasn't an issue. If you have scenes too long from the anime (say, 20 seconds of continuous footage of 1 scene), it get copyrighted. As most AMVs go, no scene lasts uncut for more than 5-10 seconds. That negates the copyright issue. Music doesn't affect the copyright often unless you are trying to monetize(which I'm not)
