Well, it’s 500 years in the future. If showing your underwear on the news doesn’t even matter anymore. Pretty sure she’s allowed to keep her firearm. Plus I’m pretty sure she would have made an application as part of her employment. Done training and signed a waiver to have a firearm on her for security purposes outside of reporting. A girl should be armed with more than just killer looks. I might have looked into it too much but that’s the best answer I can give you.

The main reason is because of MJ’s death and allegations in 2019. (The allegations were also the reason why Space Channel 5 part two was not released in the UK and Ireland). Sega is being very mindful about what fans are going to say because of the feedback they received from VR with MJ not being present. Why not just throw in a few Easter eggs? People are looking into this series a lot so why not throwing some Easter eggs of MJ in the remake? It’s still technically putting him in but being respectful in the process and you can get away with it.

0:30 Ulala has more personality here than in the actual original game and the VR one! Why is Sega so lazy with animating her and giving her an actual personality like this? That VR game was pretty disappointing she smiles a bit but it’s very limited, she should of had Pixar level character animation by now!

Well gotta give part two some credit. There was a lot more effort put into the voice. Ulala’s voice changes in different parts, depending on situations. She could sound tired, depressed, or even worried.
