its great to see all the advanced in mech building people are making in SE

You can do some really interesting stuff now that we have Event Controllers. There are some really cool combinations discover, for example I've recently worked out a way to replicate Whips Sub-Grid Wheel script using ECs and also a vanilla alternative to the Precise Timers script 👍

Looking good. I don't know much about space engineers, only that I can be a headache at times. I applaud you for this. Well done Raven.

Thank You. SE can be a bit of a headache at times, but once you've learned all the ways that it can go wrong it gets a bit easier.

Thank You. It's coming along quite nicely.

@@dread_mechanic How do you plan to go from here, first movement, then modular design then weapons?
@dread_mechanic5 ай бұрын
@@renaudlelong2805 Pretty much. I usually start with the walk animations, get them working nicely. Then add weapons and ammo to see how that effects the walking & balance and adjust things as needed.

I swear the background music to Space Engineers and Horizon Zero Dawn are the same

It wouldn't surprise me if the same people work ed on both...

will you be doing another mech making tutorial anytime soon?
@dread_mechanic5 ай бұрын
I am working on some things 👍I'm trying to figure out the best way to explain mech building as there's a lot of different techniques you can use. There isn't really one single way of doing it and a lot of it depends on the size & shape of your design. For now, you can check out my build streams for building tips. Most of them show how I build mechs from scratch.
