Space Engineers: Corvette design choices

I’m designing a corvette, I might upload it, and my first one can take one mighty beating before it goes down. Ex: I put five of mine against five of another and it didn’t go down but the others fell out of the sky. This video helped a lot with design, features, and what to include

Nice ships. I personaly prefer smaller, but better armed and heavily armored, like a mix of corvete and destroyer.

The corvette is the fighter of the large grids. Should be able to be operated by a lone pilot, typically only combat focused, and able to either jump on its own or dock to a capital ship to make jumps. Cheers.

Corvettes in space engineers terms would e your smallest large grid ships, or exceptionally large small grid ships. A Corvette would be too small to have a jump drive and be focused mainly on dealing with ships smaller than it.

The biggest problem i see with interior turrets is that with the latest updates they lack the range. Better gatling guns can outrange the interior turrets so they can be picked off at distance if they're your only armament.

dont you have ammo issues with internal turrets?

Interior turrets don't have conveyor ports, but you can just get out and rearm them by hand.
