every time i get to space it seems like the hostile factions seek me out and the more i defend my base from attacks it just escalates and they constantly attack with larger ships until they win. what am i supposed to do? is there any way to stop them?

Im in my first survival game, how do i find a station like this ? Is it avaiable in singleplayer ? Im.in mars

@maximillian8594 Yes, they are in single player survival. The best 'in-game' way to find one is by looting the control seat of your survival drop pod. If you've enabled economy (and I assume you have...I think it might be enabled by default), you'll find one data pad there with the coordinates of a trade station. It is possible to find them with general exploration, but challenging on a planet surface. Once you get to a trade station, you can buy more datapads at the station to reveal more stations. They are generally located on the planets, as well as in "orbits" around planets and moons. That first data pad is actually a very nice personal mission incentive to create some sort of craft capable of reaching it. The first few minutes of this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/e5DZlKKVgr2GnLM provides sone tips on getting the data pads coordinates loaded permanently as a GPS marker. I think the thing that would help us the fact, While a player could do all things, Doesnt mean they enjoy everything. Some do enjoy all aspects, but deffinitly not everyone. So forcing it so a player cant enjoy that might not be the right solution. IMO anyways

@collinpersieck6073 No, all that economy stuff is default base game - no DLC. Some servers owners may have turned off the economy, but it's there by default. If you're playing a stand-alone instance on your PC, you can go to Load Game > Highlight your Save > Edit Settings > Advanced > and scroll near the bottom to check if Enable Economy is checked. I assume it's a similar navigation path on XBox.

Economy is bad. Because all the economy is using labor with cheaper price. It is better to build myself.
