Space Engineers - Mod Wednesday - Paint Gun - realistic painting for survival

Hello everyone Commander Kingfish here and I am starting a new series on mods I use all the time or new mods that maybe of interest to all you Space Engineers out there.
This week’s mod is Paint Gun -realistic painting for survival by Digi. This mod is a quality of life and brings a more realistic approach to painting for bases and ships. The mod uses gravel (which is always in an abundant supply) for the paint chemicals produced in the assembler. I love this mod, it is one I load to almost all of my new builds. I highly recommend this mod.

Cool video but how do I use this paint gun with a control

I am not sure, I play on the PC and mouse. Reading in the workshop notes this mod does not work on xBox. I would go to the workshop page and ask the mod author on how it works with a controller if you are not playing on xBox. Hope this helps.

@@commanderkingfish9613 I’m pretty sure you’re right it doesn’t work on Xbox, however I am on PC I’m just using a xbox controller and the gun works I can spray ADS spray but I’m not certain how to change colors using the controller on PC, I can just grab my mouse and scroll wheel tool I get the cooler I want but it’d be nice be able to do it with the controller as well.

That makes sense, I would go to the workshop and ask the mod author if he has that programmed in or if he would be willing to add that as an update. Good luck and continue to have fun in SE.
