Check the new wheels you added, you might have left propulsion and steering on, Idk if that would cause some weirdness while driving. Extra powah!! Time-lapse is a good idea when you are welding or throwing together a new grid. (I don't often watch streams, Aussie time zones don't match up well with streamers) Do you plan on putting connectors on your mining installations so you can just 'Drain All/(ingots)' when you visit them with a cargo vessel?

Too though. SE gets wonky when you change a setting on one and then try and mass change settings. So I will definitely do that.

In the early game here, perhaps build one of your hovercraft fleet with an assembler loaded with ingots, so you can build on-site as needed rather than try to calculate everything you need to take, when you go to set up mining outposts. Having a portable assembler could be handy for a variety of other things too, including repairs of the hovercraft out in the wild, should you ever have a RDE (Rapid Disassembly Event) you need to recover from. Depending on how many mining outposts you plan to have scattered about, with the new Signal update you could add a bit of automation to your mining outposts so that when they fill up their local storage it sends out a notification so you know to make a collection run.

That's a good add for the vehicle. Did they officially ad a small grid Assembler?

No, but a large rotor or hinge with a small head will handle the conversion between large/small grid.
