That balancing mechanism is such a nice part. Manually built 'irl' gyro.

As an amateur boxer, can I just say that I am ashamed your mech has better form than I do!!!! I love it.

You, Sir ... are a freaking GENIOUS! This whole Mech, without any mods or required scripts ... damn ... MASTERPIECE!
@DoktrDub2 жыл бұрын
That’s awesome, I appreciate builds like this more than I appreciate ones with scripts.. just pure space engineers craftsmanship :)

Impressively advanced mech. Wish the auto balance could be practical for small grid walkers

Bro that's the coolest thing ever. You did a great job jsut another 2 things anout the timers so ik it's 4 per leg but idk if I saw 4 joints but does one of the joints use 2 timers if so which and also are the hinges/rotoes in the calf go slightly faster or at different time commands?

Also im def downloading if but idk if all the buttons will be mapped on xbox control pages. I'm sure I'll figure that out

All the joints are activated by timer blocks twice in once sequence/step. The walking cycle is actually a little bit asymmetrical so it may appear that one of the knees are bending at a different RPM but all the RPMs for each joint should be the same as the other leg. Almost all of the mech uses rotors to avoid clang -To

@@tohadase505 I was wondering that that's really weird thanks this is the real big question. Sorry just there is no good explainer out there other than you and black armor but that world didn't work for me "how do you start on an idol stance. Would some of the rotors be facing the other way or do timer block play a role in that
@tohadase5053 жыл бұрын
@@GlenIEBOI44 I think you mean "idle". For the idle stance it is just the leg rotors set back a few degrees. You can see this at 4:06 where the legs make the whole body lean forward, that's because that is the starting/end position of its walking sequences. I did not have the legs move further back because if I did the idle stance would lean too far forward and fall over, and of course you would have to angle your feet a way that lets your mech stand straight.

@@tohadase505 ah I was wondering why it looked off abit yeahl I was more so meaning about how do you start walking with a straight stance since I can't put it in my head of what way to make the timer for the second leg activate after the first one is about to move back
