I'm not sure if they're on the PS version but the Learning To Survive and First Jump scenerios serve as the game's tutorial and do a good job of introducing the key game mechanics. Plus they're really fun even for experienced players.

Yeah I mean I done them, got the basics down, but its the after stuff not really clear. Im ok now, getting into the swing of things 👍 adore it ❤️

Ignoring the other comments, as someone who started 3 days ago, this was very helpful. Would be helpful if you could do a playthrough of the of the 1st 2 modes. One difference ive noticed on ps4 is that when you land, you use the chair to recharge your energy by sitting in it. Holding down square on the survival kit does the same as tapping square. You just access the inventory.

Please please someone tell me the shortcut for dumping items in cargo containers without opening the inventory!!! Why is no one talking about this??? Its a game changer on PC...even more important on PS5! And the shortcut to send the components required for a selected block to an assembler via the cargo port?...all cargo port shortcut ughhh save me ...keen LIST the damn controls...

I had to stop playing it due to me losing my 60hr saves, more than once! But im sure there IS a list of controls you can bring up, I seem to remember. To be honest I didn't know you could do that lol sounds helpful

Check your ore detector is set to full range, sometime they will be only set to 50%

The sun is shining straight through my planet from where ever it is located and it’s so bright and distracting it’s borderline unplayable cause I can’t see anything, anyone got a fix for this on ps5? I don’t have this issue on my series x

There are resource ore nodes in the ground. They can be spotted from the air by the subtle difference of color on the surface. They can be 10 to 60 meters underground.

@@Fat_Cat_Caravan Glad to help. Also, the easiest to spot are under lakes, look for dark patches. In other places the patern is the same but colored different.

Been on Xbox for a few years now lol and there is now tutorial missions to teach most of the basics the rest is stumble across like most survival games

@@Fat_Cat_Caravan basically everything, trying to build but it's a pain and the mirror mode on console doesn't wanna work, I don't really wanna build an 20 ton ship block by block basically I know how to move it's time to build and crash lol

So I think its 5, with the vanilla location having 3 planets with moons also. Space itself is infinite, with infinite asteroids tho 👍

Yes, you have to enable them in the options before you begin a new game 👍

Please play the tutorial what is built into the game also not all planets have ice also learn more before doing game and also write down what your going to say because the video is full of um’s and warning leaving it as a frame work due to weather eg lightning will blow block.

First thing you say, is you can spawn over and over but you fail to describe HOW. Like K menu < Info Tab < Delete grid < press backspace key < yes, then respawn to get a new pod at a new location? Lots of flaffing and uhms, uh's, hmm's, etc. 20 mins for '10' tips; thats 2 minutes per tip, that arn't clearly outlined is-- a headache brother. I have played this game since 2014, you gotta do better than this. WRITE A SCRIPT ❤

Well thanks for you're feedback, yeah I am pretty new. Yeah I know I'm not the best when it comes to explaining things to people, it does need improvement but hey thats part of the learning process 👍
