I do realize that I disconnected the front turret from the conveyor system. Meant to add in a corner piece there and will fix that before next episode.

If you divide the boat into airtight sections, replace one of the reinforced conveyors with a junction, they are not airtight lengthwise, nor on the [X] side.

now that you've invented the fast means to go Glug, a proper Submarine is in order using all those new Round blocks and Windows. fixing the nose down attitude of the patrol boat should only need a small redesign of the bow to make a bit more void space forward to lift the bow up

One of the few gripes i have with this game is that atmospheric thrusters work when they shouldn't (Ie intake completely obstructed). And hydrogen thrusters not needing oxygen to function.

I’ve got to say, things are surprisingly buoyant in water mod 3.0. I drove my rover into the water expecting it to sink, but it floated. It wasn’t exactly floating well or gracefully, but it was doing surprisingly well for a car driven into the ocean. My only problem is that I can’t really build anything stable in the water besides catamarans. All my normal ships like to list heavily.

The lines for the "target for landing" also denote the size of the runway. More lines = bigger runway. I forget the exact numbers off the top of my head.

For the battery removal, you could have instead gone around the sides of the battery cluster to utilize that space with more than just armor blocks

I recently overhauled one of my designs too; I figured out what I wanted my ship to be, and remodeled the interior and weapons systems accordingly.

Have you considered what will happen in a gunfight? 2 rounds to a half armour block and it'll sink! Funny though

Heavy armor is actually quite viable in water 3.0. Now that guns don't work underwater, you don't have to worry about getting the bottom of your ship blasted out by sinking enemies. Armor belts are back on the menu boys!

I also constantly push the wrong button in Build and Repair for grind color. TBF those button texts also basically mean the same thing. Would be nice if they would make them easier to tell apart.

I'm thinking adding layers and or compartments is a good idea. The idea of loosing one block and sinking ads a negative. Mabe a half block layer of hevey armor?? On most of the top and sides? Or ad another layer of air compartment under the hole vessel, lots of possibilities. 0.01c

Build a submarine with multiple enclosed small rooms and doors below. These Rooms will act as ballast tanks for your submarine.

Can you drain the water with a pump and hydrogen tank. Just sump up what it takes in and turn it into "no more water, now fuel" solution.

Yes if it ever depressurizes, but if you've lost that compartment and aren't using nanites, its a lost compartment and an air vent won't really help.
