That’s why it’s important for bills to be passed to allow whistleblowers and others to be absolved from any legal consequences of their actions. The reality is that the only thing new about the "space force" is the fact that it now has a name and a distinct task. As a group, they have been doing their tasks for decades. You don't want guard members in there because of the secret nature of the work. You can't afford to have a situation like the submarine sailor who sent his mom a picture of the reactor. The things you can photograph while working in the space force cannot be shared.

The Air Force flies aircraft, the Navy sails ships, the Marines operate amphibious vehicles, the Army operates its own vehicles and fields infantry. Space Force will be in charge of using UFO reverse-engineered ships. We've had these type of craft for a while. Your guest really didn't zero in on the biggest problem the Space Force has IMO, and that's it's name as well as its mission. I can only speak from the Navy perspective but it's a hard sell to get people from intelligence, nuclear and other top fields to want to join a "space force" that has such a poorly defined mission. Sounds almost cartoony. And I'm assuming it will only need a small force size of highly qualified technicians. A better solution might have been to treat it as a joint service project and recruit directly from intelligence and other technical fields in the other branches.

Space Force started under Obama before it was officially formed. The services had too many independent surveillance satellite and Space Force consolidates it under one command. One thing is they are the ones tracking thousands of space debris orbits. They are able to track Interstellar Objects entering the Solar System and impacting the Earth, to the size of a truck. Military secrecy prevents this gentleman from revealing national defense strategy, and fortunately so. You don't have to be Ross Coulthart to talk about this. As for his suspicions about possible non-human presences, by his own admission, he has absolutely no proof. All in all, we're left with a lot of hot air, intimate convictions that don't add up to proof. On the other hand, the public loves it, and it always makes for a good audience, which is vital for all the media, including book publishers and all the podcasters who make a living from the unheavenly dust that comes off the UFO subject.
