Oh, man. I got it a few days ago, and I can't believe how intense it is. Extreme 4 and 5 are ridiculous. The challenge is amazingly genuine, too. You never feel like you're getting cheaped out. Simply awesome, and easily the handheld game of the year.

See, now this is what Dream Trigger should've been.. The super animated background, the music, the crazy sound effects, how sometimes your shots go on beat with the music, would be FUCKING AMAZING on the 3DS.

Oh I know! Extreme 5-C.. the last boss was insane, easily one of the hardest space-invader style bosses ever, omitting bosses from Ikaruga and the like. I do like the pragmatic aspect of the space invaders classic, with the extreme twist. And I agree, definitely the handheld game of the year :-)

The first SIE is one of my favorite DS games. I'll definitely be picking this up - it looks incredibly frantic!

I have it, and it's great :-) I just got my first "Full house" Fever... it was EPIC =D Also, it has 3 modes for score attack (single player) beginner, normal, and once you beat all the normal levels, extreme :) Extreme on SIE 2 is the most difficult set of levels out of both of the games, and the bullet amounts can get pretty crazy on levels 4 and 5 :-)

They make the game sound great, but there's almost no way you'll be that good, or it will sound that good, or you will have that good of a drug videogame trip. Space Invaders Extreme 1 convinced me of that.

My best so far is 67,000,000 on normal mode. It seemed like alot when I was playing, but the top score is almost five times this amount! How on earth can you score that high? I didn't think there were enough opportunities to create that many full-house bingo fevers.

Thanks. I haven't done a real comparison between regular and full house bingo. Honestly, I'm surprised you could score so high without it. I had assumed full house was the only way to go...each one is worth about 10M. What's your name in the rankings list?
