Space Invaders Extreme (Atari VCS PC-MODE)

Space Invaders Extreme was released on Steam back in 2018 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Space Invaders. An HD update to the Nintendo DS classic, this trippy take on the Space Invaders formula features psychedelic backgrounds courtesy of Jeff Minter. Of course, the Atari 2600 port of Space Invaders is regarded as the console's first killer app, so it's only right to give the Steam version a go on the modern Atari VSC.
Gameplay only on a stock 8 GB Atari VCS in PC-Mode on Steam via ChimeraOS.

This is the Steam HD re-release from 2018. Same game 10 years later. 🕹
