Crazy part is they filmed it summer 95 after he came back at the end of the season but wasn’t 100% and they lost in the playoffs. Then he filmed this movie while having open court scrimmages with a rolling cast of all the best in the NBA. Then he led the bulls to (at the time) the best regular season of all time and won another championship. THEN the movie came out after that. Outside of the obviously better soundtrack, what made this intro so much better is that MJ's plays were just much flashier than Lebron's and this intro did a much better job highlighting them. The switch hand layup, the shot against those Celtic players, the dunks, the shrug, that nasty steal and immediate score. Above all else, it just illustrated that his trademark ultra competitiveness was just at a much higher level.

I heard this song playing over the speakers at the grocery store, and all the thirty-something moms and dads (myself included) were all jammin’ and rockin’ like there was no tomorrow. I bet most of us hadn’t heard it in nigh on 20 years. All of a sudden we were all 10 years old again. It was glorious.
