News on Space Marine 2 continues to drip down, and now we’re starting to get a bit more info on how the game plays, and a reaffirmation of the release date.

@@andresr.viguera9791nah. They tried that shit with the Rogal and it looks like ass. Leave the Cold War/contemporary to the space marines. They get the better equipment anyways

@@CMTechnica I disagree completely. The Rogal Dorn looks good. And I would like the Imperial Guard not being stuck in a dieselpunk appearance at all

The grittiness, the dark heroism! The guard advancing, the wave-like formations of Tyr., The way the tanks move, the world behind it, the details. All it's own feel, diff atmosphere, yet what Aliens V Pred wishes it gave off in a way! Yet the Imperium puts all its weight as if it's dealt with worse, yet.... cinematographic masterpiece, Chef's kiss!

I hipe they have a dynamic hud so it only shows up when in combat or when you do something that affects it.

A quote from the game makers: "all of our footage was filmed on the 3rd hardest difficulty and we only wanted to show the 1st mission as we didn't want to spoil what gory goodness we had to offer!" Can't wait to see what other tyranids are gonna be in space marine 2!!!

I’m a huge gears of war fan and this is right along the gritty feeling of the first trilogy, that’s what made me love this game right off

Google It if you dont believe me but 3 weeks before launch GW actually was working with helldivers 2 and pulled a special game mode that would have reskinned everything into a imperial vs tyranids

Looks great. Imagine this though , but as a MASSIVE coop game where each player is an Imperial Guardsman. I'm talking Tyranid waves like this, but with like 100 people playing as individual bug fodder.

As someone with a degree in games design, it looks AMAZING, however I hate the HUD... You don't need TWO ammo counters, the health bar looks like it's from a 90's prototype and you just don't need all those hints and highlights during combat... I really hope there is an option to just turn it all off tbh.

first, we had orks and demons, now let's get some bugs and skeletons. tyrranids and necrons as in lore the skeleton boys have found that the closest they might get to becoming flesh again is implanting their minds into space marine bodies and above.
