Bulwark is perfect parry + gaurd. Assult is parry + perfect dodge.

@@YarrickAU the best tips I can give when playing assault class is knowing when to use ground slam during horde waves because they can be mixed with a ton of shooty boys, always go after the bigger targets to weaken the horde and know when to get out and back with the team, plus knowing when to take out certain enemies like snipers or targets that shoot thorns on the ground to cut off certain areas. But when it comes to using perfect dodge you can’t fully rely on it as it is Buffy and the jet pack dodge sometimes won’t register the input and that can open the door for taking big damage and being stunlocked to death

I went back to Assault after watching this. You kinda made realise that Assault is a parry/dodge class first, shooty second and then big slam only when it's really ideal. More of a duellist and less of a unga bunga swinging for the rafters. Would that be a fair take away? Just need to get some levels to get more sustain out of the gun strikes etc

@@YarrickAU that would be accurate to describe the assault class in its current form it forces the player to pick and choose when to ground pound and when to duke it out with trash mobs due to the contested health system in its current state but me personally its been neutered compared to campaign and pvp versions it could be a fun choice if it had the choice of two bolt rifles that being the grenade launcher variant and an smg variant combined with the hover system can turn it into a shock and awe type of play style

@@Jason354 Do you mean by buffy, that you need to like preuse it, due to an input buffer or really just on reaction? And what build do you play? Would you recommend chain sword over hammer due to faster animations and therfor easier dodges?

@@JustusAnton peruse is correct and it is a safe option over pure reaction timing but keep reaction as a secondary option for enemy off camera or at an angle if I am putting it in an understandable way
