Correction at 5:50 The annual ARPU for Starlink is about 1.5 lakh INR, while that for Jio is about 2500 INR.

Is 1.5 lakh after considering PPP because this will give comparable value to Jio which is at 2500
@Aditya_VyasКүн бұрын
I believe the correction happened because now you are considering the Broadband business of Jio & previously you were considering the Mobile Recharge business. Makes sense. Thanks for updating. Great Video ❤

Common perception about Ambani on Internet is that he's a villian and about Tata's that they are heroes I think bro has same misconception.@@bhikariman-sigmamale

Starlink does not need any sat phone by the user, lot of countries starlink is available for just 300$, YES in indias context this is expensive too.

120$ per month for Residencial uses for unlimited data. It's around ₹10,000. Currently Fiber connection cost around ₹1,000 per month for unlimited uses. So it's 10x expensive. But if you are in remote location, then it's best. 2nd, Rumors are there that they will offer it at lower price (around ₹7,000). Which is still expensive, Buts it's only 7x and affordable for remote areas. 3rd, Cost of this Satellite Internet will keep on decreasing with time as economics of scale kicks in.

Lot of people are covering this topic , my question is this affordable in remote areas as their income levels are very much less when compared to metros?

Government needs to auction and not allocate spectrum, specifically when they're running budget deficit and imposing taxes on citizens
@ankitrai96Күн бұрын
First of all, understand that satellite spectrum is a shared space. Unlike 2G / 3G / 4G, it can't be divided among spectrums. Secondly, Jio doesnt even have a single satellite in space as of now. Why should the people not have access to something that's already there!?

Satcom not going to disrupt the existing communication in near future. No direct voice call possible. Works on data for calls through apps. May be Mr Musk would come up with some innovative solutions. Ambani's need not worry. He can continue to generate cash even with poor quality Jio service. Airtel hasn't worried about satcom. It's most useful for defence & diaster services. We are in need of it.
