Space Mountain's "Holiday Run" Christmas Overlay Rocks | Full Ride - Front Row POV, 4K [Low Light]

Christmas time at Walt Disney World means any number of rides are getting a holiday makeover, and fan favorite Space Mountain is no exception.
Exclusive to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, guests can experience this in-the-dark roller coaster with a little more light via its "Holiday Run," Christmas overlay.
Festive colors fill the space as riders jet through space accompanied to Christmas rock blasting through the stars. Frankly, it's the closest you'll get to riding with the lights on without them actually being on.

I rode this during the holiday run, and I could see almost everything. Everything felt way more close to me than normal. Nonetheless, it is a great ride to experience

I believe so, yes. I think they switch it a little before the party starts.

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure this overlay doesn't get switched on until right before Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party starts.

I don't think so, I'm afraid. Party nights, the park closes to regular guests at 6. When we went, they didn't cycle to the Christmas overlays until about 7ish.

You probably would've liked the Halloween version better. Not much of an overlay, but it was pitch blackness.
