its not gravity that steer the universe but energy. energy is the driving force of the universe. its energy that makes the universe possible. without the energy the universe could not exist. energy creates stars galaxies. energy makes stuff move.

I think you mean Astronomy. Astrology has all kinds of fancy names. The word 'astrology' was claimed by mythology and the like before science had a foothold in the study of the stars. As a result, the study of the heavens above, proper, has become known as astronomy rather than Astrology.

Everything that we see in everyday life is the light reflected off of them, so the light that we see IS what they look like.
@ericdebord
@ericdebord Жыл бұрын
Expansion is space being created by the super massive black holes at the center of each galaxy. And the big bang was caused by two black holes each with half the mass of the universe slamming into each other at 99.99% the speed of light. That's why the universe is flat and not round like an expanded balloon. It's flat from two round objects hitting each other. The spin is caused by the ever so slightly off center of the objects at impact.

Black holes effect time just like energy and matter. (Not light, no mass) We know, already, it can effects time just like it effects matter. If it can focus all of its matter to one point, by the same thinking, black holes are focusing all that matter into time. Pushing (or pulling) down, into time. Until pieces of matter (quantum particles, DUH) exist in past, present, and future at the same time, in time. Makes sense to me. Before you out yourself as a, "stuffed-shirt expert," know where I come from, crazy is a compliment. As it should be

I have a question that sounds stupid on the surface but I’ve never had it answered. Why does nighttime exist? I understand the earths rotation on its axis, I understand it’s 23.4 degree tilt, I understand it’s elliptical orbit around the sun. So I understand why seasons exist. But if I turn a light bulb on in a room (the sun) it doesn’t matter which why I turn or rotate it’s still going to be light. If I face away from it I’ll still see light. Why when we are facing away from the sun is it dark? Shouldn’t we see it on its way to Mars, Jupiter etc?
@steviemichelle7271
@steviemichelle7271 Жыл бұрын
Turn on a lamp near a wall, not an overhead light. Then turn away from the lamp. You’ll be facing the dark side of the room, seeing the light from the lamp reflecting off of the surfaces that you aren’t casting a shadow over with your body. If there were tiny creatures living on the side of your body that faces away from the lamp, they would be in the dark, but they would be able to see the light reflecting off of things in the room.
@Slave10110
@Slave10110 Жыл бұрын
Earth's orbit isn't in an elliptical orbit that is very pronounced. That's also not what causes seasonal changes. That's caused by the tilt of the earth as it travels around the sun. When the northern or southern hemisphere is tilted towards the sun, and receiving sunlight more directly it's summer, and when the respective hemisphere is tilted away from the sun and receives sunlight at a more indirect angle it's winter. This is why the earth's poles are capped with ice. Those regions of the planet never truly receive sunlight directly enough to achieve the warmer temperatures that the regions closer to the equator have. A light bulb in a small room is not going to have an effect anywhere close to the day/night side of earth. Why? Because light will reflect off the walls in every direction. This doesn't happen nearly as much in space because space doesn't have walls for that light to reflect off of. So the only reflected sunlight you will see on earth's night side will come from the moon, planets, and other objects large enough to reflect enough sunlight to be bright enough for you to be able to see. That's why you can see stars at night. During the daytime our proximity to the sun causes it to be the brightest thing in the sky and it drowns out all other starlight. If Betelgeuse goes supernova within our lifetime though it's entirely possible that it will be bright enough to be able to during the daytime. That would be a pretty surreal thing to see.
@pja-ok4714
@pja-ok4714 Жыл бұрын
Its because in a room, the light you see when you turn around is reflected by the wall you are now facing. For the planet, there is no surface to reflect the sun's light (except the moon, etc), so that the light streams away from the sun, is not reflected, and the sky is dark. Star light streams into your eyes, so you see them in the night sky. During the day, the sun is so bright, it obscures the stars around it, so you don't see them, except at night. Make sense? :)

Light is a wave and a particle at the same time ,but it also acts like an infinitely expanding bubble of water in a way ... I have a question similar in a way That sound like what u are asking As in if we throw a handful of sand as far as possible (imagine each particle of sand is a photon of light ) the further away from u when u throw the sand the greater each particles distance becomes from its fellow sand particle So there would be gaps the further we go the bigger the gap Yet when u look at light ,no matter where u are there is no gaps in the light but if it was a particle like they say then why can u see the light from any angle or distance It's almost as if the light source is like an infinitely expanding bubble of like water (no gaps between each particle ) and its almost as if as the water -light expands it creates a huge bubble NO GAPS AT ALL SO light behaves like a particle a wave and like an infinitely expanding bubble of water ( water seems to fit the explanation the best to me ) it's almost like each particle of light a photon has infinite expansion Like each particle expands or like each particle is in connection with another and well I'm nit sure as I have been thinking on this and I have no training I'm what I speak of just bits and pieces I've picked up from various sources Light is an amazing thing The double slit experiment which shows interference patterns in it kind of like the waves of light in a way cancelled out another colliding wave I am not sure if any of what I've said was any help to u as I think I understand your question and hopefully I've been of some help to u mate Please may u let me know if I made much sense there to u as it's a hard thing for me to quantify or explain properly what I am thinking here but I hope I came off clearly there as that was the best explanation I could come up with hey
