they also forgot something: on my planet i have these trees that is a sphere and has claws around the sphere, i think these were called earthstars? they would give an insane amount of wood before the big update, but now it gives 11 wood per claw and mining the sphere broke and doesn't explode. So they also broke the earthstars

Build your Base near the point where everyone spawns when arriving on the planet.

Has anyone figured put how to use the tank treads yet? They take a signal but no piping, like the boat motor. I can get them connected to the control panel, can't get into the controls for a drive.

I placed a Tank Tread under my Spaceship and connected it to control panel with wire. Make sure you've placed the Tank Tread into the right direction or else you'll drive backwards. Usually you control it by pressing "arrow key up" to accelerate and "arrow key down" to decelerate/stop.
